San Fran Gives Free Sick Days

Employers in the City by the Bay must now give paid sick leave to all their workers — even, in some cases, when they're not sick. One provision of the law allows workers without families to call in sick to care for a friend or neighbor — all on the boss' dime.
So living in Pelosi's backyard just got more expensive. While this may sound like a great thing at first, only to those who don't understand how anything but the slurpee machine works, how do small business pay for this?
A local chef says he's either going to have to raise prices or hire fewer workers:

“Sure it's kind of nice to suddenly have more sick days, but realize you end up giving something up for that, and no one ever looks at the consequences of their actions in this town, especially in politics, and especially with progressive politics," said area restaurant chef Dan Scherotter.
They have two weeks to work out the details. So now not only do small mom and pop places, which are all over San Fran, have to pay $7.15 an hour, but now paid sick days for it's employees. Even in this socialist liberal expierement, capitalism will prevail. Once these owners see how much they are hurting and start to go out of buisness and lay off workers, what will happen then?
Story here.
