To Be Honest...

By way of al-AP, it seems that officials at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport are looking to impose penalties against Muslim cab drivers who refuse to carry people because they have alcohol or use service dogs. Now, being a conservative, I have to be against this idea. The Metropolitan Airport Commission, went on to say,
"Our expectation is that if you're going to be driving a taxi at the airport, you need to provide service to anybody who wants it," commission spokesman Patrick Hogan said.
Further:
Airports Commissioner Bert McKasy said the issue raised by Muslim cab drivers who say that carrying alcohol or dogs, including those that help people with disabilities, violates religious beliefs is "unfortunate."
Now, I believe in capitalism and that said, if they don't want to pick those people up, then they shouldn't be made to. These people will just go on to use another cab and those Muslims will lose money. Having said that, if all the cab drivers are Muslim, then that opens up a lucrative business for somebody willing to pick up the slack. That my friends, is the beauty of capitalism.
