RE: Anything wrong with this

Chip asked me to weigh in, so here we go. I believe the government should stop trying to dictate how we raise OUR children. I also believe that discipline is necessary to shape the correct values and morals to keep our children grounded. Besides, without consequence to action there would be complete Chaos. I for one, want to live in a world where peoples actions have boundaries and limitations. To have success, we have to instill right from wrong in children. I'm not advocating beating your child, but there is nothing wrong with a pop on the hand or bottom. We need to wake up and realize, that Dr. Spock can't raise our children for us. It's the parents RESPONSIBILITY.
