Obama looks to Run

With this new story out of Chicago, it looks like Obama is gearing up to announce his presidential dreams. I for one can't wait and I hope he does run. Couple of reasons. It will be great to watch Hillary and him tear at each other. I know she wants it, and will stop at nothing to get there. I would like nothing more than to see the democratic party rip themselves apart. Another reason is his book "Dreams From My Father" in which he claims that he did do drugs, but he has overcome them and is stronger for it. The Washington Post (who often stumps for democratic candidates) had this to say.

"Obama has become the first potential presidential contender to admit trying cocaine. What remains to be seen is whether the candor he offered will be greeted with a new-style acceptance by voters."

Sidebar, I really don't care about this, he did it, fine, move one, but what is going to be interesting to watch is Hillary on this one. Remember, her husband did pot and went through the mud for it. If she uses this on Big Ears Obama, then can anyone say hypocrite? Also, what has this man brought to the table in his long and extended career (2 maybe 3 years) in the Senate? Not one thing. What experience does he have? Anyone remember back in 2000 when Dubya was going for prez and all we heard was his lack of experience from every newspaper? Will anyone say that this time? Doubtful. Either way, lets get some popcorn (hat tip to Niki) and sit back and watch the fight.
