More Anti-U.S. Rhetoric

The two Anti-American leaders Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met again during Ahmadinejad's Latin American tour to discuss the continued threat of the evil American Imperialist. He is also slated to visit Nicaragua and Ecuador.
The oil-rich nations had previously announced plans for a joint USD 2 billion fund to finance investments in Venezuela and Iran, but Chavez and Ahmadinejad said Saturday that the money would also be used for projects in friendly third countries.

“It will permit us to underpin investments ... Above all in those countries whose governments are making efforts to liberate themselves from the (US) imperialist yoke,” said Chavez.

“This fund, my brother,” Chavez said referring to Ahmadinejad, “Will become a mechanism for liberation.” “Death to US imperialism!” he said. Ahmadinejad called it a “very important” decision that would help promote “Joint cooperation in third countries,” especially in Latin American and African countries.
Ahmadinejad went on to call Chavez, “The champion of the struggle against imperialism.” Full story on this here. Contrast that to what I just saw over the MEMRI blogs:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran was prepared to negotiate with the U.S. "under just and appropriate conditions."

Once again President Tom says one thing then does another. Just as he wants to negotiate with the U.S., and yet continues to send militants and weapons into Iraq in effort to undermine what we are doing there.
