Kerry Being Kerry

What is it with this guy and going to other countries and denoucning America?
Addressing a world Economic Forum meeting in Davos Switzerland on Saturday, Kerry also strongly rejected West's demanded prerequisites for the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran.
"We should give up pessimism and pick up a realistic view," he said, and further stressed the need for the US to change its policies towards the world countries and issues.
The US politician also approved of Khatami's views about increased tension and violence in the world, and concluded, "As Mr. Khatami said, violence increased in the region after the occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq and Bin Ladenism."
No matter where we are in the world, be it South America, Vietnam, or the Middle East, if America is fighting a war, John Kerry will find a way to denounce our country. Just think, this man could have been our president. So who is this man that was also speaking, the former Iranian President...
Noting the undesirable equations formed in the Middle-East, Khatami said, "If we intend to establish security in the world, then we should form an equation which serves democracy, stability and development."
Describing the world's indifference in the face of the Palestinian crisis as a catastrophe, he asked, "Why should the existence of a nation be ignored and why shouldn't a legal government like Hamas which has ascended to power through democratic elections be recognized?"
Whoa, did he just call Hamas a legal government? Wait, do you mean this Hamas:
The murderous terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas in Jerusalem (19 August 2003) killing 21 civilians, a third of which were children, has effectively ended the brief cease fire (“hudna”) which had actually not been observed by Hamas or other terrorist organizations. Since the outbreak of hostilities (September 2000), Hamas carried out over 500 terrorist attacks killing 390 people and injuring 2,100 (mostly civilians).
That is the only one I know. Kerry, by being there is directly supporting this guy. You don't speak somewhere in a foreign government, without know the politics of those who are hosting the event. He also made the front cover of the Iran Daly, stating that:
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry slammed the foreign policy of the Bush administration on Saturday, saying it has caused the United States
to become "a sort of international pariah”.
"When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don't advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy," Kerry said.
Walk away from Global Warming? I am still waiting for the warming part. How about Global Hoaxing. And Kyoto? Maybe I should remind Kerry of Senate Resolution 98:
A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate regarding the conditions for the United States becoming a signatory to any international agreement on greenhouse gas emissions under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Voted 95-0 in favor of America not going into any treaty like Kyoto.
(1) the United States should not be a signatory to any protocol to, or other agreement regarding, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change of 1992, at negotiations in Kyoto in December 1997, or thereafter, which would--
(A) mandate new commitments to limit or reduce greenhouse gas emissions for the Annex I Parties, unless the protocol or other agreement also mandates new specific scheduled commitments to limit or reduce greenhouse gas emissions for Developing Country Parties within the same compliance period, or
(B) would result in serious harm to the economy of the United States; and
(2) any such protocol or other agreement which would require the advice and consent of the Senate to ratification should be accompanied by a detailed explanation of any legislation or regulatory actions that may be required to implement the protocol or other agreement and should also be accompanied by an analysis of the detailed financial costs and other impacts on the economy of the United States which would be incurred by the implementation of the protocol or other agreement.
Kerry was one of the 95 yeas that voted. So before he talks about Kyoto, maybe he should stop and remember what he voted for, not BUSH.
