The U.N. who?

By way of Breitbart, it seems that the U.N. Security Council is trying to come up with sanctions against Iran. They have been bogged down in talks, and even now, there is still some disagreement with some of the final sanctions. I say...who really cares. I mean, does anyone really care about the sanctions. Iran doesn't:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reportedly said, "Some so-called superpowers...think that they can control the whole world. I'm telling them: Open your eyes, today, the world no longer thinks your decisions have any value."
Let's look at how these great sanctions worked against Iraq. 1441 was issued on November 8, 2002, and called for Iraq to come clean with everything it had, including no omissions. When the report came in from Saddam, it had omissions and other errors. But nobody in the U.N. save for a few countries, held up their end of 1441. The U.N. can make resolutions all it wants and ole Mahmoud Ahmadinejad knows nothing is going to come of it. That is why he sits back and acts like he does. China and Russia both have a major financial stake in Iran. Russia has already sent scientists and missiles to Iran to help out. Do you really think they have anyone but themselves best interest in mind?
The draft exempted the construction of a nuclear reactor at the Bushehr plant in southern Iran that was being supported by Russia.
Me neither. Could end up like France during the Iraq buildup when Jacques Chirac said:
France would veto any resolution which would automatically lead to war.
Yeah our ally right. So maybe Ahmadinejad is right, we have no power anymore. He claims to need nuclear power, but he is sitting on all that OIL?! Laughable.
The U.N. is worthless and this does nothing but help prove his point. Maybe and this is a big maybe, when Israel is blown off the map by Ahmadinejad, then the west will listen. Alright, not David Duke.
